Congratulations to Taylor's sister Tarah and her husband Mike on bringing this cute guy into the world. Thanks for making me an aunt for the very first time! I can't wait to spoil our cute nephew.. wahoo!

Plain and simple... this makes me UNHAPPY! It's almost April.. come on Mother Nature.

Is it horribly bad that we sat and watched the Game Show Network for WAY too many hours yesterday? 

Nah... I don't think so.. It's times like that we should cherish right? Right!

{competition}

Groove's first competition is tonight and I am so excited to see my girls perform and show off their amazing talents. I had the opportunity to choreograph three solos this year and they all look amazing, can't wait to see them tonight. Team competition is tomorrow and the girls are so ready, they are going to do great and I can't wait to see all of their hard work, sweat and tears pay off on the dance floor. Good luck girls!!

Now in honor of competition, I had to post this little gem. (thanks to Maryanne, one of my D'ette captains, I found it on her blog). Any dancer or dance teacher knows the difficulty of mastering first position. It may not be funny to you but I laughed my butt off cause I've been through this with the little ones many many times. Enjoy!

Hope everyone is having a great St. Patrick's day!

St. Patrick's Day always seems to make me feel like I'm in elementary again, where wearing green is a big deal, you dye food green and look for leprechauns and search for gold.

Now as I'm older, I'm realizing my "pot of gold" is not a literal pot of gold but my family and friends who are always there full of love and support. I'm grateful to everyone who plays a part in my life, it definitely wouldn't be the same without you all. I hope on this day of fun, you too can find your real "pot of gold". Good luck!

{honeymoon}

We had a FANTASTIC time on our honeymoon. It was so nice to just be able to relax and nap and spend time with each other without the stresses of a wedding looming over you. We went on a cruise to Cabo San Lucas and it was absolutely beautiful. I figure pictures can show you better than I can tell you, so enjoy!
