{thanksgiving}

We had such a great Thanksgiving this year. We spent the day with Taylor's family, it was so fun to spend the day with them.

I love this picture of Carston! I feel like we could photoshop him falling and screaming "noooooo!" Haha.. so funny!

Tammie made cute place cards for everyone, the table looked so cute and festive.

Daddy and Carston watching some football!

My mom went to Washington to spend Thanksgiving with my brother and aunt and uncle, so I had to make our chocolate pies this year. I thought they turned out pretty yummy!

So did our cute nephew, Carter!

After dinner we all went bowling at Boondocks!

I have so much to be grateful for this year. I have such an amazing little family, incredible family, great jobs (both Taylor and I), wonderful pets, a great house, and so so much more. This year though, I could not be more grateful for my sweet baby boy. He has brought so much joy into our life. I love watching him grow each and every day, watching him learn and do new things every day is such an incredible experience. I am so grateful to be his mommy.

{all hallows eve}

We had a great Halloween this year! Lots of pumpkin carving and Carston got to get all dressed up ...multiple times!

My family got together to carve pumpkins the Sunday before Halloween. We had a great time! I couldn't resist putting little man in a pumpkin!! Too cute!

I made these cute Frankenstein pudding cups.. thank you Pinterest!

All of the masterpieces!

Oh.. and my mom and I of course went to Thriller! It just isn't Halloween without it!

{creeps}

The D'Ettes danced to Thriller tonight at their football game. They looked so creepy but it was so fun to see them get all dressed up. They work so hard all the time and it is so fun to see it all pay off when they get out on that field.

Carston with the zombies

They did amazing job! So proud!

{off to the zoo}

Saturday, we went to one of my favorite places ever.. the zoo! They have a new exhibit that opened in June that we hadn't seen yet. It's called Rocky Shores and has grizzly bears, seals, otters, a polar bear and bald eagles. It was pretty cool.

There was a baby giraffe born just a week after Carston was born, so I really wanted to go get a picture of the baby giraffes together.

I hope that when Carston gets older he loves the zoo as much as I do, so much fun!

{pumpkin patch}

Friday, we packed up our sweet boy and headed to the pumpkin patch.

It was a great time and will for sure be a new family tradition.

{newborns}

We got Carston's newborn pictures back today! Let me tell you, I did not think that they were going to turn out. He did not cooperate when we had them taken, he was awake and crying the whole time. We eventually had to do another sitting because we didn't get enough good pictures. Leisa Larsen who took them was so patient with him (and me, the hormonal crying mom who just wanted things to go right). I think that my little man is quite adorable and I love love these pictures of him.
