Groove's first competition is tonight and I am so excited to see my girls perform and show off their amazing talents. I had the opportunity to choreograph three solos this year and they all look amazing, can't wait to see them tonight. Team competition is tomorrow and the girls are so ready, they are going to do great and I can't wait to see all of their hard work, sweat and tears pay off on the dance floor. Good luck girls!!
Now in honor of competition, I had to post this little gem. (thanks to Maryanne, one of my D'ette captains, I found it on her blog). Any dancer or dance teacher knows the difficulty of mastering first position. It may not be funny to you but I laughed my butt off cause I've been through this with the little ones many many times.
